Internal body of the Faculty of Law formed years ago and up to date putting into action articulated plans on the activities that correspond to the essential management of a house of higher education that wants to reach adequate levels to this investiture: the INVESTIGATION. Basically, the institutional plan designed for this inescapable and imperious function that characterizes a university, in this Faculty describes three forms or levels of specific manifestation:

• SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH
• PUBLICATION OF RESEARCH ACTIVITIES
• COMBINATION OF UNIVERSITY EXTENSION WITH RESEARCH

Basic Research

Grade Level: consisting of inquiry tasks carried out by the students (individually or in groups) under the guidance of the professors of the different chairs that make up the curricular mesh of the Law course in the Areas of Constitutional, Labor, International Public, Criminal, Civil and Procedural Law. These technical approaches are of a qualitative or quantitative nature, methodologically in accordance with internationally accepted technical specifications. Results of the tasks: Defense: following the formality of the development of the classes of this Faculty, (that is by semester), the investigative activities culminate with the respective oral defenses, according to the adopted methodology. Exhibition fair: at the end of each semester a socialization space is organized before the university demos and special guests related to the culminating works related to the research activities, previous binding of the same, followed by brief explanations of their authors in company of the teachers responsible to those present. Publication in the Legal Journal: the two most outstanding tasks for their investigative qualities, determined by a juri of ad hoc academics, will be published in the television media that the UPE has and in the Journal of CIDUPE (Law Research Center of the UPE ) in its digital and graphic versions.

Scientific Research

Academics Researchers: This phase of the research task within the domains of this educational institution, corresponds to a formally more demanding plan and is related to the contribution of certain members of the teaching staff of this house of studies, who to reach the status of "researchers" are predetermined according to a profile of technical aptitude by a technical team. For this, they have been and continue to be trained in technical-methodological training for this purpose, knowing that this operational plan, requires an intellectual preparation able to produce for the legal world the contribution of own and genuine work, or new views for This field of knowledge. Results of the tasks: Because these activities are academic commitments assumed by the interested party, the teachers affected to this project present annually, to the thermal of each academic period, the results of their research and according to the technical pertinence of their contributions, the same they are included in the Investigative Collection of the Faculty and Library of the UPE with the aim of witnessing the development of the Legal Sciences for the regional and national legal community.
Postgraduate Students- Specialization, Masters and Doctorate Those who are doing these courses mentioned in this section, the respective monographs or dissertations (belonging to the Specializations), or the theses of the Masters and Doctorate students integrate the status of works ipso facto of institutional research and therefore share the Investigative Collection of the Faculty of Law, space open to interested in order to serve as reference or as reference materials to those interested in this academic activity, students of degrees and postgraduate, both internal and extra walls of the UPE.

Publication of Investigative Activities

A preponderant achievement of this Faculty has been, since 2015 onwards, to have a publication space -both virtual, and physical- that is related to the development of the intellectual product of the teachers of this house of studies, arising as a result of the suitability and aptitude in front of the different chairs; academics who have responded to the demands of our time, spurred by the desire to contribute ideas to the legal phenomenon that requires more and more exponents and practitioners of law capable of responding to the demands of its evolution. We do not specifically refer to the LEGAL REVIEW, belonging to the CIDUPE, internal body of our house of studies whose managers, always with the unrestricted support of the executives of the UPE, have taken the burden of periodically holding the very special task of administering everything that must be published in this dissemination body with the support of a Editorial Board, always taking care of the appropriateness in terms of technical and scientific relevance of the articles that must be submitted to the scrutiny of the legal community interested in receiving information and expertise in the legal field , political or social, indistinctly. Guaranteed Intellectual Rights All the articles that are generated within this journal specialized in legal issues are guaranteed to be legally respected in favor of the author. This is because copyrights have been registered with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and are protected by the Copy Right system. Selection of the Works-Modality In terms of practicality, the Editorial Board of this body of publication, at the proposal of the Director of CIDUPE, is responsible for selecting the articles that achieve the appropriate relevance that deserve to bring to light the articles of the clerks . This organism is the one that establishes the methodological requirements, forms and extension of the articles; being able, within its strictly technical discretionary faculties, to determine limitations or to suggest restrictions regarding the amount of minimum and maximum content of the submitted works.

The authors of the articles The academics or special guests, both from the UPE and from other national or international universities, according to their background as law or other social sciences researchers, are admitted to our LEGAL REVIEW, provided that they meet the indicators already mentioned above, within a context of openness and respect for the intellectual producers of our time, thus promoting criteria of tolerance, freedom, diversity and inclusion, which are very favorable values for the construction of the knowledge society in this increasingly globalized world.

Combination of University Extension with Research

The university extension serves in certain aspects as a factor that contributes inputs to research, therefore, we affirm that these two dimensions of academic activity in this Faculty, constitute key pieces that are functionally overlapped, since the first one (the extension) gives the necessary factic substrate to the different levels of research (investigation) carried out by the different estates of this house of studies (graduate students, teachers and postgraduate students). In the development of extension activities by students and professors, factual data of interest necessarily emerge that are propitious to turn over to the research tasks that generally occur as a logical effect. Therefore, many times as institutional experience provides us, these two areas of university work converge in results of interest to students and teachers who are working on tasks that respond to the research activity.
